Boyfriend Jeans

I love my boyfriend jeans. I could go almost anywhere with a pair like that with a change of shoes. Perhaps Converse shoes for school or errands and a pair of sexy heels for a date night.

They are really comfortable and definitely not as restricting skinny jeans or short skirts even though they look just as chic. This pair isn't as distressed as other boyfriend jeans might be, it's minimal and appropriate for school and dates.

Mad Love

I was thinking of Mad Love by Neon Trees when I was creating this look so this is what it will be called. Definitely a date night look or anywhere you might be going during the evening. I love how it turned out to be - gold all over the lid and dark brown for the outer corners. Classic smokey eye look and that's how I like it.

Quick Tip: Use a highlight color for your brow bones! It always make the eye color POP!

Back to School Outfit: Being Cheeky

There's definitely nothing special to this outfit, except for the fact that it's my go-to look for school. I love my comfy pullovers and sweats for a casual day out. It makes me feel cozy, comfy & lazy. I'm all about comfort with a little twist so I had a little polka dots and gold details for this outfit. Hope this gives you a little inspiration on dressing up for school without overdoing it.

Maybe it's Monday so I really have no mood for any seriousness so there goes this post = cheeky

Lookbook: Colors

I love my pullovers. They go well with almost any pieces in my wardrobe. For this outfit, I paired my teal pullover with a short skirt that I bought from Bangkok. Being girly isn't really my style, but the skirt definitely makes me feel a little of that.

I love my teals, maroon and dark blue so this is definitely an outfit that I would wear on any casual day out or to school. Okay, granted that the pullover might take in too much heat for sunny Singapore but just heck it.

So my best friend is my best friend. She's Clarinda. Have a tattoo somewhere on her body. (totally badass compared to me) We're practically two peas from the pod and would (maybe) move mountains for each other if we really wanted too. So I asked if she would be my model/guinea pig so I could play with her face and of course she said yes. That's what friends are for. So she came over to my place and we got started straight away.

With her red hair, I went with reddish brown color on her eyes. Even though she never really put on much eyeshadow on a daily basis, I created a dramatic look since her bangs covered her eyes partially and would only stand out this way. Adding eyeliner is essential to finish off this look.

Shimmer & Black

It's the prom season for the kids in Singapore and I've been thinking of how I would go to prom (if I could go again). So, if I were to go to prom again, this is how I would do my hair and makeup.

My makeup technique definitely improved since 5 years ago. *applause

I created this look with my UD Naked palette and honestly, it's pretty challenging to be creative with this palette. So I guess we go for simplicity on this one.

I went with a simple shimmer shadow using Bootycall for all over the lid and Half Baked for the outer corners. You really can't see the difference here, but the shimmer really brightens the eye.

To lengthen my eyes and create a softer look, I used Blackout to line my eyes instead of the typical eyeliner.

Who doesn't love big hair? I used Babyliss Conical Wand to achieve these curls and I absolutely love it.

Wishlist: Fashion & Makeup

This wishlist pretty much says it all about my passion. These are the things that gets me excited and gives me butterflies in my stomach (no kidding).

I definitely feel rebellious about the fashion pieces that I picked out. They're not as appreciated in Singapore, given the hot weather and high humidity. They're just not that practical. But you know what? Heck that and just be yourself.

Makeup will always be my first love and I wanna challenge myself into creating bolder looks on myself and others so these items on my wishlist will help me get there (hopefully).

Bring me Fall #2

Continuing from the previous post, this is the makeup look for the outfit. Gotta give myself a pat on the back because this is my first time trying out this look. I was afraid it'll look too overwhelming with the dark colors. But I guess it turned out okay.

Face: Lancome Teint Visionnaire in BO 02
Eyebrows: ELF Eyebrow Kit in Dark
Lips: NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil in Maroon 718
Blush: NARS Gina

Lookbook: Bring me Fall

This outfit is definitely fall-inspired. My idea for fall time? Little smokey eyes, plum lips, casual but put-together outfit. Gotta love how the military jacket changes the look of the girly short dress, making it more casual chic.

Back to School Outfit

Honestly, I never really thought that dressing up for school is practical but of course, that changed.

I know Singapore is hot and humid and dressing up in any way always seems like overdressing.
(if you know what I mean)

But I Love It. *inserts icona pop singing
