This is a letter to my 15 yo self.

Confidence is subjective and temporal, or should I say - fleeting.

When I was 15 years old, I was insecure and self-conscious. That's like the worse combination to have at the same time. I think lack of confidence is the cause of these two characters. And it sucks that women don't gather often enough to talk about shitty things like insecurities. And because of that, girl like myself tend to feel that you're the only one feeling this way, but it's not. It's really not.
So to my 15 yo self, I'm going to start by saying, it's okay to feel defeated, it's okay to feel like you couldn't trust anyone and it's definitely okay to be emotional and cry about what seems like peanuts to others.
Whatever hurtful words that those girls had said about you before, is okay to feel hurt and cry about it. It really doesn't matter what they say, but in due time, you will thank them for making you stronger. It's going to be a long journey before you know…
